Become a host!
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact and help create an unforgettable experience? The annual CHARM fair is approaching, and we are looking for enthusiastic hosts to help us in the CHARM committee and the Coordinators to welcome and guide students, exhibitors, and guests throughout the event.
As a host, you will mainly help out during the fair days or during a couple of weeks before the fair takes place depending on what type of role you have. Your responsibilities could range from having contact with companies to assisting with logistics and the setup process, such as helping with carpeting, booth arrangements, and other preparations the week before the fair.
Besides helping us create this amazing career fair, you also get some extra benefits as a host :
You will get to attend the CHARM banquet, which is an elegant three course dinner, where you get to talk to company representatives in a relaxed setting.
A host present
Lunch in Kårrestaurangen and access to the company lounges where there are tons of fika. (During the fair days)
Food whenever else you have a work shift.
In order for you to make a more informed choice on which host type that suits you the best, we have visualised the approximate workload and the expected work shift for each host type. When scheduling the work shifts we will of course take your needs into account, so you don’t miss some obligatory lesson, and most importantly making sure you still have time to attend the fair. The work shifts are set to be during LP3, LV2 and LV3; from the 27th of January to the 7th of February (LP = Study Period, LV = Study Week).

Reception & Wardrobe hosts
Looking to network with top companies while contributing to one of the biggest events on campus? As a reception host, you'll be at the center of the action, helping students and company representatives make the most of the career fair. Your role involves answering questions, providing guidance, and offering services to companies, such as selling tickets. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build your professional network and gain firsthand exposure to company representatives! To apply for this role you need to be fluent in English.

Lounge hosts
Are you social and service-minded? As a lounge host, you'll have the unique opportunity to interact with company representatives in a more relaxed setting. The lounges serve as a welcoming space where representatives can enjoy coffee, snacks, and a break from the busy fair.
Before the event, you'll help set up and decorate the lounges, ensuring they create a great impression. During the fair, you'll keep the lounges tidy and stocked with fresh food and drinks, making them a pleasant retreat for attendees.

When (during LP3):
Logistics hosts
Are you a person who enjoys working in closely knitted teams, have an interest in arranging effective flow of goods and want to see the fair come to life? Then you sound like our next Logistics Host! You will mainly help out with carpeting and constructing the exhibition area the week before the fair, but you will also help the Logistics Group with all logistics relating to CHARM. You will manage incoming and outgoing goods, and solve problems that may occur during the fair. As compensation for your hard work you will get the chance to enjoy the banquet. A Swedish driver’s licence for forklift is an advantage but not a requirement.
You will work approximately six four-hour shifts spread out during this period, where breakfast/lunch/dinner and fika is included! You don’t have to work every day - we will create a schedule that is personalized to your availability.
