Different types of Coordinators

 

Let’sCHARMtalk Coordinator

Are you interested in improving your connections? Would you like to help your fellow students excel in their career? Then become one of our Let’sCHARMtalk Coordinators.

As a coordinator for Let’sCHARMtalk you will help coordinate Let’sCHARMtalk which is an event where students and company representatives get the chance to meet and carry out longer-form conversations without the distractions presented at the fairgrounds. The event takes place during both days of the fair so you will be expected to work those days and some work leading up to the actual fair as well. Tasks will include contacting companies, scheduling meetings during the fair days, matching students with company requests and more.  

Your place as a coordinator will come with challenges and a chance for you to develop and work in a small but dedicated team consisting of the Corporate Event Manager from CHARM committee and the other Let’sCHARMtalk Coordinators.


Graphic Design Coordinator

Do you want to use your creative side? Help the marketing team create wonderful content and collaborate with the art directors in CHARM committee. You get to develop your leadership skills and independence with different tasks before and after the fair, throughout the year you will:

  • Help create marketing materials.

  • Assist the marketing team with day-to-day business.

We see that you are familiar with the Adobe programs and appreciate the creativity of graphic design.


Logistics Coordinator

Are you a structured and responsible person that wants to improve your leadership skills? Do you want to be part of enabling one of Sweden's largest job fairs? - Then YOU are the one we are looking for!

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the planning and implementation of material handling before, during and after the fair. You will guide our logistics hosts during the fair construction and deconstruction. You will also ensure that the logistics operations run smoothly, which includes managing and organising company goods and storages. 

If you are available to work during a busy period at the end of January and the beginning of February, do not hesitate to apply!


Banquet Coordinator

Are you interested in grand social events filled with splendour and brilliance? Do you want to be part of arranging an unforgetable dinner party for hundreds of people? Then you should become a Banquet Coordinator!

As a Banquet Coordinator you will be part of the team that assists the Banquet Manager in the CHARM committee with planning the CHARMbanquet. Your tasks will vary, ranging from taking responsibility for the event’s decor to creating the banquet movie that will be shown to company representatives and students attending the Banquet. Being a Banquet Coordinator will be a creative assignment where you can come up with your own ideas that add sparks and flair to the Banquet. 

On the day of the Banquet you will take on greater responsibility, ensuring that everything we have prepared is ready as well as taking on a leading role over the CHARM hosts working during the fair days. A bonus is that you will have the opportunity to attend the Banquet and experience the evening you helped bring to life!


Reception Coordinator

Are you a problem solver and service-minded person? Do you want to develop your leadership skills? Apply for Reception Coordinator!

You will work in a team of three, closely with the Information and Partnership Manager, planning the design of the receptions and wardrobes. You will be tasked with ensuring that the receptions and wardrobes run smoothly by obtaining necessary materials and communicating with company representatives. Therefore it is preferable if you speak Swedish. You will have the opportunity to organise the project the way you choose. You will have operational responsibility for the receptions and a group of receptionists and wardrobe hosts during the fair.


Fair Event Coordinator

Do you want to get involved in meaningful, fun and educational events directed towards the students at Chalmers? Then apply for Fair Event Coordinator to take part in this exciting journey!

As a Fair Event Coordinator you will assist the Fair Event Manager in making the CHARM fair even more enjoyable by organising events specifically directed towards the students. Your responsibilities will include hosting the event, preparing and planning all necessary equipment together with the Fair Event Manager and decorating the location a few days before the actual events.

Fair Coordinator

Are you passionate about organising events and building strong professional connections? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring a smooth and successful fair experience for both exhibitors and visitors? Then consider becoming one of our Fair Coordinators.

As a Fair Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing a designated area of the fair and managing a team of hosts to ensure that everything runs efficiently. In addition to your on-site responsibilities during the fair days, you will be in charge of liaising with multiple companies in the lead-up to the event. Your tasks will include addressing company requests, assisting them with their questions, and ensuring they have everything they need for a successful participation.

This position offers you the opportunity to develop your organisational and communication skills while working closely with your fellow Fair Coordinators and the rest of the organisation . It is a challenging yet rewarding role that will allow you to contribute to the overall success of the event, as well as gain valuable experience in event coordination.


Lounge Coordinator

Are you service-minded with a sense of planning and organising? Do you want to develop your leadership skills? Apply for Lounge Coordinator!

You will work in a team of three and will be responsible for the lounges where company representatives and hosts can drink coffee, mingle, and recharge their batteries during the fair. You will have close contact with the Service Manager in designing the lounge and purchases of necessary materials and “fika”. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to design the lounges to your liking.
