  • Will we receive confirmation on everything we have ordered?

Yes! We will send you an email in both December and January listing everything you have ordered.

Can we make changes in our order after the Final Application has closed?

If you contact us in time we may be able to add or cancel certain items you have ordered. This is however depending on what it is, and how soon you let us know.

Why am I not getting registration emails?

We are currently experiencing some issues with our email service which leads to emails not reaching you or ending up in your spam folder. If you can’t find the email feel free to contact us at info@charm.chalmers.se and we will help you out!

    When will we get invoiced?

The invoice will be sent out after the fair.

Sadly we want to cancel our participation at CHARM, is it possible?

If you have signed the contract and you want to cancel your registration you will have to pay an administrative fee, which is specified in the contract.

  • Why have we been given this booth location ?

There are a lot of fair areas at CHARM that vary in size and roof heights, spread over different buildings and floors. When making the booth placement we consider practical things such the need for electricity, the requested height of the booth and any special requests and requirements from the Final Application.

We also try to make sure that each fair area has a broad range of different companies. CHARM does not have any special focus areas with companies from just one industry. This is because many exhibitors look for students from many different programs and we want the students to visit as much of the fair as possible.

Can we change our booth location ?

Requests for where you want your booth to be located can be in the Final Application and when making the booth placement we try to fulfil these requests as best as we can.

Please note that CHARM does not have a “main building” or “main fair area”. All areas are marketed equally to the students and we try to make sure that we have a lot of visiting students at all areas of the fair.

  • How can you reach our students but still safeguard the environment?

We work actively to reduce the environmental impact of the fair and hope that you wish to contribute. These recommendations can also help you understand which items that students will actively use to add greater value for your company.

    Disposable plastics

Reducing the usage of disposable plastics. We ask you to avoid handout materials in plastic to the greatest possible extent. We wish for you to:

    • Avoid handing out plastic bottles in favour of glass bottles or thermoses.

    • Avoid handing out candy and other products wrapped in plastic.

    • Try to keep your coupons and catalogues in digital format.

    Quality of the products

Unfortunately there are several items that are handed out that are not used and a big reason is the quality of the product. Items of better quality are used by the students but items of plastic or lesser quality can be wastefully thrown away. It is often better to hand out fewer but better products.

    Rethink the concept

Instead of handing out merch to all students, you can hold a competition where you can win bigger prizes. This creates interest while still minimizing the amount of items that are not used

    Choose products that are used

It can be hard to know what products are actively used by students if given to them. That is why we have created a list of items that are often used or not used by students.

Examples of items that are often appreciated and well-used if they are of good quality:

    • Lunchbox (of glass or metal)

    • Thermos

    • Water bottle (of glass or metal)

    • Study materials (whiteboard pen, pen, notepad, pencil case, post-it notes etc)

    • First aid kit

    • Umbrella

    • Spork

    • Food (like candy, pantry items etc.)

    • Drinks (like energy drinks, coffee, tea, soft drinks etc.)

    • Computer case (of good quality and discrete logo)

    • Technology (of good quality)

    • Power bank, Charger, Mouse pad etc.

    • Fabric tote bag (good quality)

    • Household items (dish cloth, dish brush etc.)

    • Hygiene products of travel size

    • Games (Deck of cards, minigames, ping pong balls etc.)

    • Etc.

Examples of items that are often not used

    • Flyers, paper merch

    • Bottle opener

    • Stickers

    • Key chain

    • Etc.

If you are not sure about what merch to choose, you are welcome to contact us and discuss it further. Together we can create an environmentally friendly career fair.

  • Can I use public transportation to get to the fair?

For those who use public transport, we refer to Västtrafik. The tram/bus stop closest to the fair is named Chalmers. Download the app Västtrafik To Go for recommended travel routes and ticket purchases.

There is good communication between the fair and the Central Station as well as Landvetter Airport. There is an airport bus that will take you directly to and from the airport and stops at Korsvägen. Korsvägen is just one tram stop from the fair.

  • Where is there parking near the fair?

There will be a shortage of parking lots near Chalmers and we therefore recommend that you do not take your car to the fair. If you do, there are regular parking lots at the Chalmers area and adjacent to Chalmers. These listed parking areas may cost between 5 and 15 SEK/hr. The ones we recommend are:

Gibraltarvallen - Located in the Chalmers area and accessed via Gibraltargatan. From here, go across the Chalmers area to get to the fair, see map.

Mossen - From Gibraltargatan, turn down on Engdahlsgatan and turn right at Johanneberg Science Park-in on Sven Hultins gata. From here, you go back on Sven Hultins gata and will come to the fair, see map.

Fysiken - Located on Gibraltargatan 39, next to the gym Fysiken. From here you can either go through a jogging track or via Gibraltargatan to the fairgrounds. From Pilbågsgatan you can also take bus 19 to Chalmers tvärgata.

Vasa area - Located in the Chalmers area, just off Kapellplatsen. Walk Aschebergsgatan up and take a left just after the bus stop. From here you can either go through Aschebergsgatan to the fairgrounds, or take public transportation up to the bus stop Chalmers.

Hvitfeldtska Gymnasium - Located on Rektorsgatan 2 which is accessed from the intersection Läraregatan / Gibraltargatan. From here you can either go through Aschebergsgatan to the fairgrounds, or take public transportation up to the bus stop Chalmers.

Landalagatan - Accessed via Amund Grefwegatan at Landala square. This parking is marked on the attached parking map. From here, go straight up to the fairgrounds.

Medicinaregatan - Accessed from Guldhedsgatan. If you come from Chalmers, you drive past Wavrinskys Plats and then down to the bus stop Medicinaregatan, which takes you right into the parking lot. From here you can either take Guldhedsgatan back to Chalmers or take public transportation from Medicinaregatan.
